| Details: | A 5m Pacer ski boat put out from Acacia Bay, Taupo, to go & look at the Maori Rock Carvings. Vessell had called for assistance north of Motutaiko Island (with fuel pump problems) some 7 nm from their destination.2 Persons onboard safe & well. Coastguard Turangi towed it to the Motutere boatramp.

| Details: | Rescue 2 was called to assist a runabout which had run aground near Kulim Park as a result of engine failure. Rescue 2 effected a tow and returned the vessel safely to Sulphur Point. |
